A 10-year-old boy, named Gavin Keaney from the US state of Oklahoma, pulled his drowning mother out of the pool and saved her life.
Laura Keaney, Gavin’s mother, experienced an epileptic seizure while swimming.
At that time, Gavin had already left the water and was sitting on the porch of their house.
When Gavin heard his mother struggling in the water, he quickly realized that she was in danger of drowning.
Without hesitation, he dove into the pool, pulled his mother out, and carefully carried her to safety.
For over a minute, Gavin held his mother’s head above water until assistance arrived.
Laura, deeply grateful for her son’s heroic act, expressed her emotional gratitude, describing Gavin as her hero and guardian angel.
Later, the local police officer solemnly presented the boy with a certificate for saving his mother.
In a related incident, it was previously reported that twin 10-year-old brothers, along with their 11-year-old friend, rescued their father from drowning in a pool.
Although one of the boys confessed that he didn’t know the proper techniques for providing first aid, he remembered a rescue scene from a movie, which helped him.
